Stainless Steel Tube Weight Calculator is based on the relationship between volume and density, and the general formula is:
Weight = Cross-section Area x Length x Density Weight = Cross-section Area x Length x Density
For different cross-sectional shapes, the cross-sectional area is calculated as follows:
Round tube: π × (D-t) × t
Square tube: 4 × (W-t) × t· ·
Rectangular tube: 2×(H+W-2t)×t
where D is the outer diameter, W is the width, H is the height, t is the wall thickness, and density is usually taken as 7.93 g/cm³ (304 stainless steel).
