ASTM A135 Grade A
TUSPIPE provides ASTM A135 Grade A pipes manufactured under complete A135 standard control. Certified for quality and uniformity, they ensure smooth flow systems and reliable service life in low-pressure applications.
ASTM A135 Grade A
ASTM A135 Grade A is a steel grade used for Electric-Resistance-Welded (ERW) steel pipes. The chemical and mechanical properties of ASTM A135 Grade A pipes make them ideal for use in high-pressure applications, such as conveying gas, vapor, water, or other fluid. In some countries, ASTM A135 Grade A pipes are also used as fire sprinkler pipes. According to the standard, only Grade A pipes are adapted for flanging and bending.
ASTM A135 Grade A is a type of carbon steel that shall be made by either or both basic oxygen or electric-furnace processes. Steel may be cast in ingots or may be strand cast. The pipe shall be manufactured from flat-rolled steel in individual lengths or continuous lengths by electric-resistance or electric-induction welding without the addition of extraneous material. Tensile and chemical requirements of the steel are provided. Specimens of the steel pipes are subject to flattening tests and hydrostatic tests. A nondestructive electric test, either electromagnetic (eddy current) or ultrasonic test, may be preferred as an alternative to the hydrostatic test.
Pourquoi choisir tuspipe ?
Depuis 1998, Tianjin United Steel Piping Co., Ltd (TUSPIPE) s'engage à fournir des tubes de canalisation de haute qualité.

Specifications of ASTM A135 Grade A
The American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM A135 Grade A covers electric-resistance-welded (ERW) steel pipe in sizes NPS 2 to 30, with nominal (average) wall thickness up to 12.7mm, inclusive. It also covers ERW steel pipe in sizes NPS 3/4 to 5 with a nominal (average) wall thickness of 2.11mm to 3.40mm, depending on size. The ASTM A135 standard is widely used in the construction and oil & gas industries because it covers a wide range of applications, including water transmission lines; process piping; distribution piping; condenser and heat exchanger tubes; high-temperature steam lines; and general service lines. This comprehensive listing of standardized pipe dimensions will help engineers and specifiers select the right size pipe for their needs.
