Types Of Pipe Ends

Types of pipe ends, which are usually classified into the following four types:

  • Plain End
  • Bevel End
  • Threaded End
  • Flange End
  • Socket End
  • Victaulic End
  • Expansion Joint End
  • Ductile End

Types Of Pipe Ends

When choosing the type of pipe end, you need to consider the working pressure, temperature, fluid properties, connection method and maintenance frequency of the pipeline, etc.

Plain End is suitable for welded or direct connection. Bevel End is suitable for the need of high strength and high sealing. Threaded End is suitable for small diameter pipelines and equipment. Flange End is suitable for the need of frequent disassembly and disassembly for maintenance of piping systems.
