Black Vs Galvanized Pipe
The main difference between Black Pipe and Galvanized Pipe is that Galvanized Pipe has a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel pipe as a protective coating. Black Pipe, on the other hand, is not galvanized.
Black Vs Galvanized Pipe
Compared to galvanized pipe, black pipe has no protective layer and is less resistant to corrosion, and is susceptible to rusting in humid environments due to chemical reaction between air and water. But it is less costly. The galvanized layer of galvanized pipe effectively hinders the contact of moisture and other corrosive substances in the air, reducing the frequency of maintenance and increasing the service life of the pipe.
