Materials And Properties Of SS Pipe
The full name of ss pipe is stainless steel pipe. ss pipe is used as an important fluid transportation pipe in the fields of petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food industry as well as construction and drainage, and its excellent corrosion resistance and long service life have a lot to do with it.
SS Pipe (Stainless Steel Pipe) Materials And Properties
Common stainless steel pipes are 304/316 stainless steel. Their chemical composition is Cr 16-18%, Ni 8-12%, 316L more 2-3% Mo added to enhance pitting resistance. Its mechanical properties of tensile strength ≥ 515MPa, elongation ≥ 40%, through the cold working treatment can further enhance the strength of the pipe.
