FBE Coating
The full name of FBE coating is Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating, which is one of the most commonly used pipeline coatings in the field of pipeline corrosion protection. It forms a continuous protective layer of 200-500 μm on the metal surface by electrostatic spraying and high temperature curing.
Principles and Properties of FBE Coating
The chemical composition of FBE Coating is a bisphenol A epoxy resin system with 2-3% phenolic curing agent. The film-forming mechanism of this coating is a cross-linking reaction at 230±5°C, resulting in a three-dimensional mesh structure.FBE Coating is commonly used in applications such as submarine pipelines, high alpine areas, and digital construction.
