These two steel grades have some differences in mechanical properties and application scope, which need to be selected according to the use environment and engineering requirements.<\/p><p>ASTM A179 Grade A<br \/>ASTM A179 Grade A has a minimum yield strength of 35 ksi (240 MPa). Suitable for mild general industrial heat exchanger applications such as heat exchangers and condensers.<\/p><p>ASTM A179 Grade C<br \/>ASTM A179 Grade C has a minimum yield strength of 47 ksi (325 MPa).
