target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Australische\/Nieuw-Zeelandse norm<\/a> voor Koudgevormde holle profielen van constructiestaal. Deze norm specificeert de eisen voor de productie en levering van koudgevormde, elektrisch weerstandgelaste, holle profielen van staal voor constructiedoeleinden. De norm beschouwt drie sterkteklassen, met of zonder kerfslag, die geschikt zijn om te lassen. Deze norm is van toepassing op holle profielen voor constructiedoeleinden die koud gevormd zijn zonder daaropvolgende warmtebehandeling. Het doel van de AS 1163 norm is om fabrikanten en leveranciers een uniforme methode te bieden voor het specificeren van de vereisten voor de productie van koudgevormde, elektrisch weerstandsgelaste, holle profielen van staal. De afmetingen, toleranties en andere relevante eigenschappen die in deze norm worden gespecificeerd, zijn die welke geschikt zijn voor de huidige productiemogelijkheden en -praktijken. Deze norm is niet bedoeld om niet-conform staal om te zetten in staalsoorten die voldoen aan de vereisten van deze norm. Niets in deze norm mag echter worden opgevat als een verbod op het gebruik van lagere materiaalkwaliteiten dan de gespecificeerde indien kan worden aangetoond dat een dergelijk gebruik in overeenstemming is met de goede technische praktijk. AS1163 houdt alleen rekening met holle profielen van koudgevormd constructiestaal.
